The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) and the host Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA), saw Jefferson County's soccer squad triumph over Josey by a margin of 9-0.
The Warriors now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 1. Jefferson County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Josey drops to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles host Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to meet the Patriots in a AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 15. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 5-2.
