Alabama High School Softball - Vincent holds off Childersburg

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) and the visiting Childersburg Tigers (Childersburg, AL), saw Vincent's softball squad nip Childersburg by a count of 11-9.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Comer for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1. Vincent will face a Tigers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Reeltown (Notasulga, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Childersburg falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL) to face the Generals in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Generals enter the match with a record of 0-0.
