The Oxford Yellow Jackets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Cleburne County Tigers to 1 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Oxford improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Helena (Helena, AL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, February 25. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 0-2. Helena lost 8-1 in their recent non-league game against Hoover (Hoover, AL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 1. Cleburne County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
