California High School Softball - Scripps Ranch bounces Mar Vista

The Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) softball routed the host Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA), 16-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, El Capitan toppled Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

The Mariners now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Brawley for a non-league bout on Monday, February 28. Mar Vista will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
