Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Buffaloes now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lathrop for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25.

With the loss, Lodi falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Flames travel to Ceres (Ceres, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
