The Marble Falls Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Akins Eagles to 6 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Billies go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Fredericksburg tipped Regents (Austin, TX), 13-3, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers go into the 6A Region IV District 26 match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Lake Travis tipped Harlan (San Antonio, TX), 9-5, in a non-league match.
