In Friday's non-league game, the host Westside Wolves baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Austin Maroons.
The Wolves (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Vela tipped Austin (Austin, TX), 13-0, in a non-league game.
The Maroons (1-4) will now prepare for their game against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, King was edged by Nixon (Laredo, TX), 7-6, in a non-league game.
