The Steers now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godley for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 25. North Side will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Cowboys confront the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 24. Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Buffalos come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Benbrook (Benbrook, TX).
