In Saturday's non-league game, the host Catholic-B.R. Bears baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Denham Springs Yellowjackets.
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Ponchatoula was overwhelmed by Zachary (Zachary, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Yellowjackets (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record.
