The Dublin Fighting Irish baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Cook Hornets to 3 in the Fighting Irish non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Irish (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Savannah Country Day was overwhelmed by Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Peach County edged Central (Macon, GA), 18-0, in a non-league match.
