Texas High School Baseball - Polytechnic loses to DeSoto

The DeSoto Eagles crushed the visiting Polytechnic Parrots baseball team by a count of 14-5 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Prairie for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. DeSoto will face a Gophers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Gophers record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Parrots face the Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Polytechnic will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Southwest (Fort Worth, TX).
