The Wimberley Texans crushed the visiting Pieper Warriors baseball team by a tally of 7-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Texans now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Wimberley will face a Golden Bears team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Judson (Converse, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Warriors face the Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 25. Pieper will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Judson (Converse, TX).
