Texas High School Baseball - Vela defeats Westside

Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) and the host Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), saw Vela's baseball squad knock off Westside by a count of 7-1.

Coming up next, the Sabercats play the United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 24. Vela will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, TX).

The Wolves now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kingwood for a non-league contest on Friday, March 3.
