Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN) and the visiting Anderson Prep Academy Jets (Anderson, IN), saw Southwestern's basketball squad wallop Anderson Prep Academy by a tally of 83-61.

With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 4-18 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Jac-Cen-Del won 65-38 in their recent league challenge against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN)

Next up, the Jets play the Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Anderson Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-21 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to Northfield (Wabash, IN).
