The Greensburg Pirates basketball team (Greensburg, IN), was nudged 48-44 in Friday's league battle with the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN)
The Trojans now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. East Central will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 9-13.
The Pirates (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Dearborn (Aurora, IN). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, South Dearborn edged Community Christian Academy (Independence, KY), 84-63, in a non-league battle.
