The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Wellington Skyrockets to 45 in the Steers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Steers now sport a 27-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floydada for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28. Farwell will meet a Whirlwinds team coming off a 84-63 non-league win over Stratford (Stratford, TX). The Whirlwinds record now stands at 34-5.
