West Virginia High School Basketball - Nicholas County trounces Meadow Bridge

February 24, 2023: Summersville, WV 26651

The Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 74-45 in Friday's league test.

The Grizzlies (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Lewis County was trounced by Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 86-51, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Greenbrier West for a Coalfield A test on Tuesday, February 28. Meadow Bridge will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 65-55 non-league loss to Independence (Coal City, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-14.
