The South Plaquemines Hurricanes basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Pickering Red Devils to 63 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakdale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28. South Plaquemines will battle a Warriors team coming off a 87-52 non-league win over Tensas (St. Joseph, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 19-7.
