The Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lancers host Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to face the Dons in a East Valley outing on Thursday, March 2. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Verdugo Hills won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA)

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Taft for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 25. Sylmar will face a Toreadors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Toreadors record now stands at 0-1.
