The Clay County Bulldogs routed the visiting Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks basketball team by a final score of 64-35 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Clarkrange Buffaloes (Clarkrange, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Clay County will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Buffaloes enter the game with a 17-7 record after their 57-36 non-league win over Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN).
With the defeat, Merrol Hyde Magnet moves to 12-15 on the year.
