In Friday's non-league match, the host Maplewood Panthers basketball team scored a good 46-32 triumph over the Portland Panthers.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Creek Wood Red Hawks (Charlotte, TN) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 27. Maplewood will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Red Hawks enter the match with a 25-3 record after their 82-19 non-league win over Valor College Prep (Nashville, TN).
With the defeat, Portland moves to 15-17 on the year.
