Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN), 53-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Unaka upgrades its record to 10-19 on the season. The Rangers travel to North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, February 27. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 13-14. North Greene won 80-31 in their recent non-league bout against Jellico (Jellico, TN)
