Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 12-5 in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 4.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 28. Miramonte will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA).
