Next, the Bears confront the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).

The Red Elephants now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanier for a 6A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Gainesville will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-5.
