The crowd at Friday's league test between the Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA) and the host Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA), saw Rutland's soccer squad beat Spencer by a count of 5-1.
The Hurricanes now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a 2A Region 2 test on Thursday, March 2. Rutland will meet a Red Jackets squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Central (Macon, GA). The Red Jackets record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Spencer drops to 0-5 on the season. The Greenwave host Jordan (Columbus, GA) to meet the Red Jackets in a 2A Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 14. The Red Jackets come into the test with a record of 1-2.
