Minnesota High School Basketball - Monticello knocked off by Alexandria

The Alexandria Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Monticello Magic to 46 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sartell-St. Stephen for a match on Monday, February 27. Alexandria will meet a Sabres team coming off a 68-64 league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, MN). The Sabres record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Monticello moves to 3-3 on the year. The Magic travel to Big Lake (Big Lake, MN) to meet the Hornets in a match on Tuesday, February 28. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-0.
