North Carolina High School Basketball - South Wake over Greater Cabarrus Stallions

February 24, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the host Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), saw South Wake's basketball team gain a win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions by a score of 59-51.

The Sabres now sport a 28-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham HomeSchool for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. South Wake will battle a Thunder team coming off a 71-53 non-league win over South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC). The Thunder record now stands at 12-2.

The Stallions (20-9) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Thunder Homeschool (Front Royal, VA). The Thunder come into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record.
