The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Venice Indians (Venice, FL) and the host Gulf Coast Sharks (Naples, FL), saw Venice's lacrosse team nudge Gulf Coast by a margin of 7-6.
The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Sailors enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Sharks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood Ranch was tipped by Venice (Venice, FL), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
