Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) in a 6A Area 5 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Newnan will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record.
The Tigers now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Whitfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Harris County will confront a Bruins team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-3.
