The Seguin Matadors softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Alamo Heights Mules to 5 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Seguin improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Matadors travel to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 25. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 4-3. Carrizo Springs lost 14-1 in their recent non-league game against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX)

In their next game, the Mules clash with the Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Alamo Heights will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Floresville (Floresville, TX).
