Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crowley for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Sanger will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Alvarado falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Robinson (Robinson, TX) to face the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Robinson won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Burnet (Burnet, TX)
