The Boerne Greyhounds routed the host East View Patriots softball squad by a final score of 12-5 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Greyhounds (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Lake Travis nudged Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 17-5, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brenham for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. East View will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 6-3.
