The Holmes Huskies softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Brandeis Broncos to 0 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Holmes moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Huskies travel to Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the WILDCATS in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 28. The WILDCATS come into the game with a record of 4-3. Sotomayor won 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Navarro (Geronimo, TX)

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Brandeis will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Mavericks come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, TX).
