Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcat now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a 6A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 7.

With the loss, Coppell falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Palmer (Palmer, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
