The Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX) softball routed the host Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 17-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, TMI-Episcopal was routed by Early (Early, TX), 6-0, in a non-league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Llano for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Chaparral will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-0.
