The Joshua Owls softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Decatur Eagles to 5 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Joshua moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Owls host Seguin (Arlington, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 5A Region I District 8 game on Saturday, March 4. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Decatur will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 5-0 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX).
