Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cactus Shadows for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Marana will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, El Paso falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Andress (El Paso, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Andress lost 10-7 in their recent non-league challenge against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)
