The Taft Raiders softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Lee Volunteers to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Raiders travel to O'Connor (Helotes, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Wednesday, March 1. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-2. O'Connor won 5-1 in their recent non-league game against South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Volunteers clash with the Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Lee will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX).
