The Little River Academy Bumblebees softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Valley Mills Eagles to 6 in the Bumblebees non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Little River Academy moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bumblebees travel to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Saturday, February 25. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 1-2. Shoemaker won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Valley Mills will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Moody (Moody, TX).
