Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Toros now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyline for a 6A East Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 28.
With the loss, Nogales falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
