The Pearland Oilers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Seven Lakes Spartans to 0 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Pearland improves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Oilers host Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, February 24. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-3. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Dawson (Pearland, TX)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Jordan Warriors (Fulshear, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Seven Lakes will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
