The Kangaroos enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX).

The Cadets now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Vista for a non-league battle on Friday, March 1. Connally will play a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Clifton (Clifton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
