In Saturday's non-league game, the host Jackson Prep Patriots baseball team scored a tight 14-10 victory over the Pisgah Dragons.
The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Warren Central tipped Starkville (Starkville, MS), 8-5, in a non-league game.
The Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Richland (Richland, MS). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Richland was overwhelmed by St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS), 18-2, in a non-league game.
