The Marshall Academy Patriots baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Lafayette Commodores to 3 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record.
The Commodores (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Oxford was edged by Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS), 6-1, in a non-league match.
