The Sylva Bay Academy Saints baseball team (Bay Springs, MS), was overwhelmed 15-4 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host West Lincoln Bears (Brookhaven, MS)
The Bears now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Gibson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 27. West Lincoln will confront a Blue Waves team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Blue Waves record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Saints confront the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 24. Sylva Bay Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Lamar Christian (Purvis, MS).
