Minnesota High School Basketball - Pelican Rapids knocked off by Ada-Borup

February 24, 2024: Pelican Rapids, MN 56572

The Ada-Borup Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Pelican Rapids Vikings to 53 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Ada-Borup will meet a Northern Freeze team coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN). The Northern Freeze record now stands at 15-13.

The Vikings (21-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 22-7 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy ran past Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN), 68-65, in a league contest.
