The Hammondsport Lakers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Houghton Academy Panthers to 48 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avoca Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 28. Hammondsport will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-28 non-league win over Friendship (Friendship, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
