Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN), 88-77 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Signal Mountain upgrades its record to 19-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Cherokees in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 18-10. South-Doyle won 63-45 in their recent non-league bout against Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN)
