Indiana High School Basketball - Union County can't hold off Union City

The Union City Indians basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Union County Patriots to 50 in the Indians league victory on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue River Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 28. Union City will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 9-12.

The Patriots (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Hagerstown was nudged by Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 61-46, in a non-league contest.
