In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Newbury Park Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Millikan Rams.
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, San Marcos lost by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rams clash with the Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore battle, on Tuesday, February 27. Millikan will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Paramount (Paramount, CA).
